life as a dog…

Tomorrow is my last day at my current job. Only 18 hours to go until I am outta there!

I’m sitting in my hotel room on a Friday morning, just waiting to head back home. This is the last big trip for me for a while – the new job won’t afford my travel (as I’ve said, I’m o.k. with that). I wanted to get out to take some pictures – I especially wanted to get out to Griffith Park, but our schedule just didn’t afford getting out (let’s see – yesterday’s work day started at 7AM and didn’t finish until 2:30 in the morning last night).

Did I mention I’m really looking forward to 40 hour weeks?

I do have one last trip – up to New York on Sunday and returning on Monday. But that one isn’t nearly as important as this one was – this one was the Daytime Emmys.

It’s now safe to make the news known.

I have a new job. I start at my new company on the 27th of this month. I’m very much looking forward to it – I have heard nothing but good things about the company. I’ll be doing close to the same thing I’m doing now – shooting and editing, but will also have the opportunity to advance further and learn much more.

I can’t wait.

Major news…major upheaval…announcement coming shortly. Probably some time tomorrow.
