phoenix…
Here I am in Phoenix. I’m too tired to go out and take pictures (I did take a few right at the hotel). It’s been a LONG week. I’m beat. Vegas was…Vegas. I didn’t get out much to take pictures, simply because I had almost no time. What pictures I did take, I’ll get up within the week, if I work on it. Not too much happened there – I did get to see the results of a drunk-as-hell driver hitting a huge pickup and pushing it into a Jaguar (happened right outside my hotel window). One night, we went to Emeril’s (the filet had been *highly* recommended). I have to say…I wasn’t impressed. It wasn’t that bad, but nothing special in the least (Outback has better filets). I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt though…simply because Emeril’s is really a seafood restaurant, not a steak house.
I can’t wait to get home…to the pup and L.
Now it’s time for sleep.
Comments are off for this postlast minute things…
Getting last minute things done for Vegas. PITA. But it looks like we’ll be good to go by tomorrow afternoon. I’ll be happy when it’s over.
I don’t think I’ll be able to post any pictures until I return – I’ll be using a work computer, and it doesn’t really have what I need on it.
Comments are off for this postunreal…
That’s the best way to describe things right now. Not on the personal front, but on the work front. And it’s not a good “unreal.”
Anyway. I posted some new pictures under the delineation link. They don’t really fit anywhere else, so they go there.
Oh, and Friday is the Vegas/Phoenix trip. I think I’m only going to take the wide angle lens. I’ve done enough with the normal lens. It should be pretty interesting to see what kind of wide shots I can get.

Here I am sitting at home with a headache. Blah. It’s been almost three weeks since I’ve written anything here. I’ve been extremely busy. Not too much has been going on during this time. We had a relative pass away. It wasn’t unexpected – cancer. And I got to see the Wizards play Miami. L had tickets for the game. Great seats, and a decent game (only decent, because the home team lost). But it was a fun time.
Oh! And we finally made it to Ray’s The Steaks. Excellent food.
I’ve had other stuff to deal with, but nothing that can really be mentioned here…at least not yet. My mind was mush this past week because of it. Hopefully, it’ll be over and done with by the middle of next week. Just in time for my trip to Vegas/Phoenix. That should be fun (it’s always a bit of a pain, but it is Vegas, after all – so it’s fun). But that also means a week (9 days, actually) away from certain people here.
