scammers…
So I get an email from Paypal to my hotmail account. It says I have “limited access”. OK, so I click the link. Then it wants info from me…like a CC number and security code…AND an ATM pin number!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Then it dawned on me… Paypal doesn’t HAVE my hotmail email address! So I figured, let’s see what happens when I do this… email: fuckyou@scammer.com. Password: 12345. Sure as shit, it logs in.
Here’s where it redirected to (after I checked the original email): horsetooth.tennisstats.net
So if any of you are really good with computers and network crap… Other than reporting it (already did), what would be the snarkiest way to get back?
Comments are off for this posttoday’s events…
Well, the weekend turned out to be a bust for sun. So today I went down to the Smithsonian. They have a couple new exhibits at the American History museum. I drove around for what must have been about 45 minutes before I found a decent parking spot (and the key: free). Walked through the museum and took a number of pictures (they’ll be up later – I’m waiting for a new power supply for the laptop). They finally brought back some vehicles (though nothing spectacular). The information age exhibit is being moved around, so I couldn’t really see anything there. When I was finished, I realized how much I had been walking – my feet were killing me. But instead of going to the car, I went to the Natural History museum. You know, I don’t think I had been in that one in 30 years. At least I don’t remember going in since I’ve lived out here. I never realized it, but the Hope diamond is actually pretty small (well, not for a diamond…but just in general).
There was one major disappointment. The old ice-cream counter in the basement of the American History museum is gone! What’s there now? A frickin’ Subway.

Wouldn’t want to be there now, that’s for sure. But I noticed something… all the pictures of traffic leaving – why the hell aren’t they using ALL lanes? Just make all the lanes northbound…isn’t this what they do on the Atlantic coast?

So I’m looking through to see if there’s any new good podcasts to subscribe to (right now, I have Democracy Now, Al Franken and Newsweek). I see Fox now has one for Family Guy. Great, I think, assuming it’s at least bits from the show. Yeah, there’s that “assuming” again. So what is it? Some guy doing a synopsis of the show! What a waste of time, people! Leave it to Fox to take something and screw it up.

If you are a fan of Anything Box and Xymox, I highly recommend Don Juan Dracula. They are from Norway. They don’t have anything available in the states as of now…maybe a small label will pick them up (God knows the majors won’t).
Here’s the video for their newest song: (Quicktime format): Take Me Home
