waking up is hard to do…

OK, stupid play on the Neil Sedaka song…

The last couple weeks, I have had the HARDEST time waking up. Don’t know why… but when the alarm goes off, I’m still exhausted. Today I ended up not going in to work until about 9:30 (didn’t get out of bed until 8:30). I’ve been getting to sleep at the same time as usual (around 11:30/midnight). So I don’t know why I’m so tired. By the time I get to work, I’m wide awake. …shrug…

the week that went all screwy…

So I went in to work on Sunday to pack for a Monday load-in for a Tuesday shoot. Also had a scheduled shoot for Thursday (and packing Friday for the 4th).

So what happens? The Thursday shoot is rescheduled because of the Tuesday shoot and 4th (moving equipment around would be a pain). Then, Monday we find out the Tuesday shoot is cancelled. By Tuesday morning, two shoots have been scheduled for Wednesday. Then, Tuesday evening, another Wednesday shoot is scheduled, as well as a *different* Thursday shoot. It’s all nutty!

well, didn’t know that…

Just watching trailers on Apple’s website… I had no idea they were making a movie version of Rent. Might have to see that one – it comes out in November.

So, today we shall list some movies to look forward to over the next 6 months or so: Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Rent, Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, Pink Panther (delayed until next year, I think), Cars (last Pixar/Disney flick), King Kong, Corpse Bride. I’m sure more will pop up.

One that I’m just not sure about: Dukes of Hazzard (though the idea of Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg is pretty funny).

working the 4th…again…

Well, I have to work the 4th again. Not really a big deal anymore. Weather isn’t looking good, though. Right now, the forecast says thunderstorms. At least it’s still another week away…lots can change in that time.
