santa clara tomorrow…

Heading out to Santa Clara tomorrow morning (at 6:45, no less). Shouldn’t be too hard of a shoot. Another trade show (don’t like those, but oh well). I’ll be out there until Friday. Harley will have to cope…not like he can’t, though. It seems he sleeps more in a roommate’s room than in my room. That is, until he gets hungry. Yeah….THEN he remembers who I am. Smartass dog!

I can’t believe October is almost over. Time is flying by. Less than two weeks and HOPEFULLY we’ll have a new President. This election is going to be down to the wire. My boss and another guy, who are both conservatives, think Kerry is going to win. And yet I think Bush is going to pull through with it. I hope I’m wrong. I know where I’ll be on November 2nd, though. PACE School is my polling place. What’s even more surprising is that Virginia is becoming close. Generally a Republican state, but Bush doesn’t have a very strong lead here. Good. Maybe my vote will actually count here.

back from san diego and lots more travel coming up…

I still love San Diego. And it looks like I may get to go back next month. Sunny and about 70-75 each day, slight breeze. Nice.

I didn’t have much free time, though. Went up to Balboa Park and that was about it. I wanted to get to Coronado again, but didn’t make it. I’ll try again next month if we are going. And try to get to Point Loma and the ocean front. San Diego is weird, relatively speaking. It’s a big city, but doesn’t feel like it. Downtown actually has a lot of intersections with just four way stop signs. Around here, that’s bizarre. It’d be all lights.

Will be going to San Francisco at the end of this month. We had the possibility of two jobs, but one didn’t come through (I’m not disappointed by that – it would have been a pain in the ass job). Also might be out in Santa Clara at the beginning of next month, and to Indianapolis at the beginning of December (I’ll already be there for Thanksgiving, so I think I’d just get to stay out there another week).
