upcoming trips…
Woohoo! I get to go to San Diego for a few days next month. October 5th through the 9th. It’s been almost two years since my last visit. Then at the end of October, I’m back out in California, though I’m not sure where – San Jose, I think.

So yesterday the remnants of Ivan passed through. We had tons of rain, and quite a few funnel clouds and a couple full fledged tornados (though I didn’t see any of them). The tornados passed about 15 miles south of home, and about 2 miles away from work (though we knew nothing of it).
Anyway…today, after it passed, was amazing out. It was about 70 degrees, partly sunny and breezy. It was nice to open the windows and turn off the A/C. I even was able to wear a jacket this evening. Nice. Can’t wait for fall to come fully.
Got lots done today. Laundry, vaccuuming, and lots of cleaning. With the breeze coming through the house, it was not bad doing all the work.

There’s a show on Discovery about the presidential race. They had a small bit on Michael Moore and showed him at the Democratic Convention talking to reporters. And lo and behold, there I am behind the group. Kinda funny.

The new Robin Williams movie looks interesting. “The Final Cut.” Also, a new movie with Dustin Hoffman – “I Love Huckabee’s” looks REALLY funny. I’ll have to check those out.
