stupid people in the snow…

Woke up this morning, and what did I see? More snow…. OK, I like snow. I like seasons. But we’ve gotten more snow since November than all the years I’ve been here put together (five of ‘em). I’m ready for spring. Nobody out here in DC can drive. I saw two accidents being attended to, and two cars dead in the middle of the road. One of the cars dead – was being jumped by another. So does the jumper pull in front of the jumpee? No, of course not. They pull up next to them, effectively blocking TWO lanes. The two (and only two) turning lanes at a fairly big intersection. Are people this stupid? Wait… of course they are. ARGH.

vinyl…

Good grief…trying to transfer vinyl to disc is a major pain. I got all of three double records to the computer. Now I have to clip those down to the proper time.

AND I’VE GOT 2,000 MORE TO DO! UGH!

a wedding…

Well, I would have posted sooner, but apparently some servers were being updated or something.

Anyway. This weekend I went to a friend’s wedding. I’ve known this person longer than anyone except my family and one other friend. About 30 years, I believe. Yikes…long time. Friday I flew out to Kansas City. It was NOT an enjoyable flight. I’m not happy with Delta at all. I missed my connection in Atlanta, and they tried to rebook my in a middle seat. Not acceptable. After pushing them for what seemed like 45 minutes on the phone, they finally put me in an aisle seat. I wanted better, but they claimed they couldn’t (I call BS – they could have if they wanted). So I arrived in Kansas City about 2 hours later than I had planned.

The wedding was very small…maybe about 40-50 people were there. And quick. Someone joked there was enough time for a second ceremony, should anyone want to volunteer.

I saw some old high school friends, two of which I hadn’t seen in probably about 10-15 years. It was good to see them again.

welcome…

Alright, welcome to Harley’s “…life as a dog…an experiment” Just some rambling of mine. Nothing of great importance to anyone but me. So if that kind of stuff really interests you, then have at it.
